The Rebati Ranjan Bhowmik Memorial Charitable Society, a well-recognized NGO operating under its North Bengal branch, successfully organized a comprehensive Free Health Check-Up Camp on 8th March 2026 at the Birsa Munda Community Hall, Putimari, Bagdogra. This impactful event was thoughtfully designed to provide accessible and essential healthcare services to the local community, with a special focus on preventive care and early diagnosis. One of the key highlights of the camp was the provision of a Free Bone Mineral Density (BMD) Test, which plays a crucial role in identifying risks related to bone health, especially among elderly individuals and women.

The event was conducted in association with the Lions Club of Bagdogra Galaxy and was generously supported by Galaxy Hospital and Galaxy Diagnostic Centre, whose medical expertise and resources significantly contributed to the camp’s success. The program witnessed active participation from healthcare professionals, volunteers, and local residents, creating an atmosphere of care, awareness, and community engagement. Throughout the duration of the camp, which ran from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, beneficiaries received attentive medical consultations, diagnostic services, and guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

This initiative reflects the unwavering commitment of the Rebati Ranjan Bhowmik Memorial Charitable Society towards improving public health and reaching out to underserved populations. By organizing such meaningful events, the NGO continues to strengthen its mission of promoting health awareness, encouraging early detection of medical conditions, and ensuring that quality healthcare services are made available to all sections of society. The success of this camp not only highlights the importance of collaborative efforts but also reinforces the organization’s dedication to building a healthier and more informed community in the Bagdogra region.
